Amy Sutherland

Amy began her ballet training at the Albany Berkshire Ballet at the age of 10. She performed in ABB’s annual Nutcracker from 2003 - 2011, starting with roles such as Party Child, Soldier, and Angel and eventually touring the northeast as a Snow and Flowers Corps member of the ABB Company. Amy graduated SUNY Brockport in 2015 where she minored in dance. During her college years she took ballet and modern dance classes, performed around the Rochester region with Chamber Ballet Brockport, and performed as Dew Drop in the Flower City Ballet Nutcracker. Amy began taking adult ballet classes at the Myers School in 2020 and has performed in the Northeast Ballet Nutcracker since 2021. She joined the staff as a ballet and pointe instructor and rehearsal assistant in 2023 and has loved getting more involved with the Myers School and all the incredibly talented students.
